Annie Lim Family Practice
The Annie Lim Family Practice is a traditional family practice, and our doctors are highly qualified generalist clinicians. Some have special areas of interest and expertise, and these include skin cancer, cosmetic procedures, lactation medicine for breastfeeding issues and contraceptive implant procedures.
The practice opened in July 2008 and now offers its 7000 patients the services of 10 doctors, three practice nurses, and four administrative staff. Staff understand how important it is for patients to be able to see a doctor in their times of need, and endeavor to respond promptly to all requests.
Every effort is made to allocate appointments with the doctor of your choice at all times. Where this is not possible, patients can be assured that our staff’s consultation and communication practises will ensure continuity of your health care.

- Lactation Specialist
Dr Susan Vickers is a general practitioner (GP) with a special interest in lactation medicine and breastfeeding. She provides medical support for breastfeeding mothers and their infants where there are difficulties with feeding, collaborating with lactation consultants, midwives, and other medical specialists where necessary.
Breastfeeding is increasingly being acknowledged as critically important for child development, and as a basis for good health throughout the human lifespan. Various challenges, especially in the early months while breastfeeding is being established, can stand in the way of successful feeding. Dr Vickers’ work focuses on identifying and resolving these problems.
Appointments are required to see Dr Vickers, please call the practice reception.

- Nutrition and Dietetics
The practice takes a preventive approach to health care and we actively screen our patients for cholesterol and BMI (body mass index), and offer lifestyle modification with the help of a dietitian and a psychologist if needed. We embrace the view in all our treatments that prevention is better than cure. This approach is demonstrated in our chronic disease management and care plans and assessments.
