Carers ACT
Carers ACT is a member of the National Network of Carers Associations. We are a non-government, not-for-profit association that relies on public and private sector support to fulfill our mission with, and on behalf of, carers.
We work closely with government and other support organisations to improve the lives of caring families and individuals throughout the ACT.

- Respite care
Apart from other respite service available at the site, there is also has The Employed Carers Program.
The Employed Carers Program supports Carers wishing to remain in or re-join the workforce while continuing to balance work and caring responsibilities. The Programs helps people caring for an elderly family member who is frail aged or has dementia. Services include short-term intervention and support, comprehensive carer's needs assessment and provision of information for referral to long-term support.

Visiting hours at Canberra Hospital have changed to 0600 to 2100, except for Mental Health and the Alcohol & Drug Service.
