- Messengers Program
Services include: The Messengers Program is a Youth program managed by Tuggeranong Arts Centre and funded by the ACT Government’s office for Children, Youth and Family Support. It is an arts-based free program for young people (13-18 years) who are experiencing early signs of mental health problems and are disconnecting from their community due to a range of youth-specific issues. Generally, participants in the program are referred by school youth workers and support staff. The program services across the ACT.
- The Junction Youth Health Service
Services include: The Junction Youth Health Service provides free primary health care and support services for young people aged 12 - 25 years and their dependants, with a particular focus on young people who are homeless or otherwise at risk. Services include GPs, a nurse practitioner, a registered nurse, paediatric care, antenatal care, a smoking cessation clinic, counselling, youth worker support and outreach programs in schools and to individuals. The Junction supports young people in all aspects of their health and well-being and liaises with external health and community services to probide referral, support and advocacy.
New Canberra Hospital visiting hours
Visiting hours at Canberra Hospital have changed to 0600 to 2100, except for Mental Health and the Alcohol & Drug Service.
