- Calvary Health Care ACT - Calvary Public Hospital
Services include: Calvary Public Hospital is funded by ACT Health and managed by Little Company of Mary Health Care. The hospital is the second major hospital in Canberra providing acute care services to the local community and surrounds. As well as providing an extensive range of inpatient services Calvary Public Hospital also provides ambulatory care and outreach facilities and services.
- Centenary Hospital for Women & Children at the Canberra Hospital - Antenatal & Gynaecological Care
Services include: The Maternity & Gynaecology Outpatients Department at the Centenary Hospital for Women & Children is located on Level 2. The following services are provided within the Department - Midwifery Antenatal Clinics, Specialist Antenatal Clinics, Fetal Medicine Unit, Maternity Assessment Unit, Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, Gynacology Clinics and Canberra Endometriosis Centre.
- Deakin Gynaecology & Canberra Laser Clinic
Services include: Colposcopy/laser surgery, outpatient gynaecological surgery, prolapse surgery, management of incontinence and incontinence surgery, laparoscopic surgery, general gynaecology and specialist obstetrics. A nurse is present at all times.
- Dr B Mukerjee - Gynaecology
Services include: General gynaecology, laparoscopic surgery, management for preinvasive lesions, prenatal diagnoses e.g. amneocentesis, CVS, vulvo-vaginal diseases and antenatal services.
- Dr Sim Hom Tam - Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Services include: Public and private obstetrics & gynaecology and advanced laparoscopic surgery and IVF Infertility. Dr Tam sees both private and public patients in his rooms.
- Gaia Women's Specialists
Services include: Drs Rebecca McCormack and Huda Younis at Gaia Women’s Specialists provide comprehensive obstetric care for women covering a wide range of antenatal services including management of natural child birth, operative deliveries, management of high risk and IVF pregnancy. Drs McCormack and Younis also provide gynaecological services for a wide variety of women’s health issues including prolapse disorders, stress incontinence, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, contraceptive management (including Mirena) and menstrual abnormalities. Drs McCormack and Younis will see private patients by appointment and will arrange to see urgent referrals at short notice if required.
New Canberra Hospital visiting hours
Visiting hours at Canberra Hospital have changed to 0600 to 2100, except for Mental Health and the Alcohol & Drug Service.
