- Specialist Youth Mental Health Outreach (SYMHO), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
Services include: The Specialist Youth Mental Health Outreach (SYMHO) provides care to young people aged 14-25 who are experiencing psychosis or at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis. The service operates 7 days a week. Referrals are made by contacting the SYMHO Intake Officer on 6205 1411.
- Susan Dalby - Clinical Psychology
Services include: Individual psychological counselling for adults/adolescents from age 15 to address issues causing distress. Specialist areas include domestic violence, adults who experienced child sexual assault, other trauma, grief and loss. Therapies include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
- The Junction Youth Health Service
Services include: The Junction Youth Health Service provides free primary health care and supports services to young people aged 12 to 25, along with their dependants. We have a particular focus on young people who are homeless or otherwise experience (or are at risk of) disadvantage. Services include GPs; nurses; paediatric & antenatal care; smoking cessation support; drug & alcohol counselling; case management; youth work support; and outreach to schools, other services and individuals. The Junction also provides information, education, and advocacy on health issues affecting young people in the Canberra region.
